Scan and save the blueprints on your computer.<\/li>\n<li>Draw a map of your own on graph paper. Scan and save the map on your computer.<\/li>\n<li>Draw a map using an illustration program, or a building design program such as <a href=\"https:\/\/pandu-software.com\/home-design-myfourwalls-mac\/overview\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">My Four Walls<\/a>. One user recommended a very interesting apps available for iPhone and iPad:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.magic-plan.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">MagicPlan<\/a> and for Android:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.tasmanic.camtoplan\" rel=\"nofollow\">CamToPlan<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><div class=\"media post-download\">\r\n<div class=\"media-left media-middle\"><i class=\"box-40x40 icons icon-mac-xs  \"><\/i><\/div>\r\n<div class=\"media-body media-middle\">NetSpot <a href=\"https:\/\/www.netspotapp.com\/netspotpro.html\">WiFi scanner for macOS<\/a> is available<\/div>\r\n<\/div><br \/>\n<strong>Map Recommendations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following tips should help you get the best results from your maps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maps need to be saved as one of the following file types before they can be imported into NetSpot:&nbsp;GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF or PDF (but only the first page of a multi-page PDF).<\/li>\n<li>Ideally, maps should be black and white with no other colors. The map background should be white. If the background is another color, try lightening it using a photo editing program.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a very large area to scan, we recommend breaking up the map into sections and uploading those sections as separate zones. The maximum size map we recommend is 3000 x 2000 pixels.<\/li>\n<li>How fast your map updates during scans depends on how much RAM your laptop has. 4 GB of RAM will give you an optimal experience with larger maps.
